Welcome to The British School’s Adventure Trip at The Last Resort! Get ready for an action-packed journey filled with teambuilding activities, community service, canyoning, rock climbing, and abseiling. Here’s a detailed description of your 4-night, 5-day adventure:
Day 1: Arrival and Team Building
We start the day early. Our facilitators are present at the school for pickup and they travel with you to ensure a smooth journey to The Last Resort. Upon arrival at The Last Resort, you’ll be greeted by your experienced adventure crew and staff members and facilitators will provide an introduction to the trip’s itinerary and safety protocols. After settling into your accommodations, the adventure begins with team-building activities. These activities are designed to foster trust, collaboration, and effective communication among the participants. Engage in fun challenges, problem-solving exercises, and team-building games that will help build strong bonds within The British School community.
Day 2: Community Service
On this day, you’ll have the opportunity to give back to the local community through a community service project. After a good energizer in the morning, we head out to the local school. This is where students interact with each other, learn from each other and get a cultural exchange. After an hour of engagements, we start preparing for school lunch where we make food for 300 students. After that, we bid goodbye to the school and return to The Last Resort.
Day 3: Adventure Day 1
The team is split into half and assigned specific adventure activities. Group 1 challenges their limits and conquers as they embark on a thrilling rock climbing expedition. Experienced instructors will provide necessary training and guidance on climbing techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. The climbing routes are suitable for participants of varying skill levels, allowing everyone to experience the thrill of scaling vertical cliffs.
Following the rock climbing adventure, they’ll have the opportunity to engage in abseiling. The team will go in pairs. They have to first climb Jacob’s Ladder which is a challenge in itself. As they climb up, the distance between the steps increases. Pairs need to partner up and strategize to reach the top. The top of the tree provides a gorgeous view of the valley below. Then, they Rappel down, controlled by ropes and harnesses, while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. This activity combines adrenaline-pumping excitement with awe-inspiring natural beauty.
Group 2 gets ready for an exhilarating canyoning experience. Equipped with appropriate safety gear, they’ll explore the stunning canyons of the region, traversing through 8 waterfalls, natural slides, and pools. Professional guides will lead the way, ensuring their safety and providing guidance throughout the adventure.
Day 4: Adventure Day 2
On this day, we begin the day with a morning energizer and swap the group. Group 2 goes for Rock Climbing and Abseiling while Group 1 goes for Canyoning.
Day 5: Departure and Reflection
On the final day, they bid farewell to The Last Resort with lasting memories and newfound friendships. Before departure, they take part in a reflection session where participants have the opportunity to share their experiences, learnings, and personal growth throughout the adventure trip.
